Cheap way to write protect MSP430G2202

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430G2202, MSP-FET

Hi,

I have developed a device that uses the MSP430G2202 using the Launchpad. The chip works inside the final product well.

I have a programming rig setup (A shield with a ZIF socket on the launchpad) and I was wondering if there is a cheap way to blow the fuse in it.

The total cost for production is £400 so paying £200 for the programmer isn't ideal.

Thanks -

Ryan
