Change to configuration 2

Can anyone tell me if I can change the configuration 1 to the configuration 2? Configuration 1 is a crystal with 2 terminal. Configuration 2 is a crystal oscillator of four pins. I directly feed the crystal oscillator 32.768 kHz clock output to Xin pin. I made change on my board. My board does not work. But I do have clock signal on the pin 8. Who can help me?
