Can the 40-pin QFN socket MSP-FET430U40 work with the MSP430F2252IRHAR?

    Unfortunately no. The MSP-TS430RSB40 target socket board in that kit is specifically for MSP430F5172 family devices which have a totally different pinout than the MSP430F2252 devices.

    We only provide one target socket kit for each device family, so there isn't one for every package that a part might come in. Typically, people evaluate the device in whatever package goes with the socket kit we have for the device, in this case the MSP-TS430DA38 board with the 38-pin TSSOP MSP430F2274 or F2252. Then change to the package needed for the design when creating their own board.
