MSP430F4794 without enough RAM memory, any drop in replacement?

I do not think there is a drop in replacement.

I do not know why you choose MSP430F4794 to begin with. Is it because of the LCD Controller? Is it because of the 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC?

You should at least take a look at the MSP430F6xx Family of chip (all of them have LCD Controller). About 100 members of that Family have 10 KB or more RAM. MSP430FG6425 and a few others in that Family also have 10 Ch of 16-bit Sigma-Delta ADC if that is what you need.

i don't think they are using the LCD controller.
and for the 16bit Sigma Delta ADC, i'm not really sure.
do you think is possible to make an comparison between both?

Sure you can compare them. But without knowing what you are looking for, this will be a big task.

TI web-site Product Three has a branch for Low Power MCUs that includes all the MSP430 Family of chips.

There are more than 500 members including over 300 with 4KB or more RAM. If you need more detailed comparisons, you can download all the datasheets and compare them.

If I were to pick a MSP for new product, I would only look at G2xx, 5xx, 6xx and FRxx.
