Hello,


I m using msp430f235 micro controller.


It does not contain test pin in it, And I m programming it using 4 wire JTAG.

I have issue that my controller is not being programmed by JTAG using CCS6.

The error message is : Unknown device.


Please provide me JTAG connection or solution.

    That sounds like you made the correct connections, but the connections did not work as expected, or something is not set-up quite correctly.

    How long is the cable between the JTAG tool and the target? Does the JTAG tool work with other targets? Is the F235 programmed previously?

    Can you try it with a different PC? (Or delete and re-load CCS6?)
