MSPware for msp432 on ccs 6.1.3.34

Hi,

I have just installed CCS version 6.1.3.34 , and it didn't install the driverlib for the MSP432. Why is that ? where do I get the relevant driver lib for it ?

Hi Eyal,

You probably didn't select the correct installation settings inside of the CCS wizard, this is not a big deal as MSP432DRIVERLIB can be easily downloaded from the following link: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Once installed, Check for Updates inside of or restart CCS and it should recognize the addition of MSPDRIVERLIB and install it for you.

Hi Ryan,
I have selected the right setting in CCS wizard(verified it by re-install) , this version creates MSP430Ware_3_50_00_04 directory with driverlibs directories for MSP430 only.
I guess I need to download and install the standalone MSP432Ware package, am I right ?

That is correct Eyal as MSPWARE is divided into 430 and 432 versions. MSP432Ware is available from the following link: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html
