Hi TI Experts,

Please let me confirm the following question.

[Question]

Can customer use/set the reference voltage of external Vref+ pin for ADC10 and SD24 at the same time?

Best regards.

Kaka

  • Hi Kaka,

Vref+ refers to the built-in reference voltage which cannot be output on this device. You must be talking about the Veref+ pin which supports the ADC10 and VREF pin for the SD24. The external voltage reference for the SD24_B peripheral should be between 1 and 1.5 V (typically 1.2 V) whereas the ADC10_A requires from 1.4 V to AVcc. Although there is a small overlap from 1.4 to 1.5 V it is not recommended to use the same external reference to supply the separate external reference pins of each module.
