Compiler/TIDA-01088: TIDA-01088, IAR Embedded Workbench

In he TIDA-01088 reference design, what version is most suitable for opening the F67641 workspace? And could you provide me the link to downloading that version?

Hi Hira,

I recommend using the latest version of IAR. To my knowledge we don't have information on which versions are most compatible. If the workspace was created with an older version of IAR and you get errors/warnings I can help you with resolving that issue.

I tried opening it with EW version 6.5 as stated in the design guide to use compiler version 6.x or higher. But the message I get

"The project file 'emeter-app-67641.ewp' is an old format. Would you like to convert it for use with this version?"

And as I click OKAY, the messages that follow are

"Failed to create backup file. The file has been left untouched"

"Not a valid project"

The same series of messages appear for the toolkit and metrology ewp. Kindly assist me what to do next

Hi Hira,

After opening the project with IAR v6.40 there were no errors. You should be able to find and download this version here: supp.iar.com/.../

Try it out and let me know the results.
