Compiler/MSP430F5502: LLVM support with MSP430

Are there plans to or current support for LLVM with MSP430 code generation so customers can compile code on iOS devices?

According to the LLVM.org website it is supported but my customer wants to know if TI is supporting this in any capacity.

Except, LLVM does not run on iOS AFAIK. All official iOS development is done on MacOS. You might as well port the ti compiler to iOS.

I do not know of any plans to support this directly as the only open source compiler integrated is GCC. We do have CCS for Mac available in which customers can use to compile and program MSP430s on MacOS systems.
