Is there a bluetooth boosterpack for the MSP430? and if not what is the best module(that has a good amount of sample code/documentation).?

Have you looked into the CC256x EVM? MSP430 TI Bluetooth Stack support is included for the MSP430F5438A and MSP430F5529.

Hi Jon,

I don't know which is the "best" module (you may want to also run this by the Bluetooth forum to get their opinion) but there is this boosterpack: BOOSTXL-CC2650MA

As a note, there is a "boosterpack checker" tool to check boosterpack compatibility with a particular Launchpad here: dev.ti.com/.../ You would need a different Launchpad than the MSP-EXP430FR5969 in order to use this boosterpack - maybe the MSP-EXP430FR5994.

Other options:
There is a Launchpad for CC2650: www.ti.com/.../launchxl-cc2650
Or you can get this adapter boosterpack: boost-ccemadapter and then get one of the EM-header based Bluetooth boards. Again, this is where a post in the Bluetooth forum may help give you better guidance to select one.
