Hi!

I am able to program/debug the MSP430F5437A using the FET430-UIF. However, when trying to program this uC with the MSP-GANG430, I got error indicating "No target device connected."

Below are attachments showing the SW/FW/HW version that I am using. Are there issues with version 1.2 MSP-GANG430 programming the new parts like MSP430F5437A?

It does look like you're using up-to-date firmware in the programmer.

Are you using SpyBiWire in your _working_ configuration using the FET430UIF? I noticed that the SpyBiWire choice seems to be selected but grayed out too, as if the programmer is forcing you to use SBW whether you like it or not!

[EDIT: If you need to use standard 4-wire JTAG instead of SBW, it looks like you'll need a new GANG programmer. HW version 1.2 is pretty old now, and it can't do 4-wire JTAG on devices that are capable of SBW. See p. 72 in http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/slau101o/slau101o.pdf]

Thanks for your response. Version 1.51 FW is loaded into the Gang Programer & Version 1.51 SW is being used on the PC.
