MSP430FR5962: Current draw per SRAM Sector in LPM4

Part Number: MSP430FR5962

Hi,

I am trying to figure out the power consumed per sector of SRAM that is active in LPM4.  I think the answer is in table 5.7 of the datasheet-

Comparing the current for ILPM4 and ILPM4, RAMoff , the delta is the SRAM power savings for total off.  delta = 1.5uA  or  375nA per 2KB sector.

Is this correct?

thanks!

  • Hi Rich,

The difference between [ILPM4] & [ILPM4, RAMoff] at room temperature is 30 nA. There are actually only three sectors: Sector 0 = 2KB, Sector 1 = 2KB, Sector 2 = 4KB (shared with the LEA module). So you are looking at somewhere between 7.5 to 10 nA per sector.

    Regards,
    Ryan
