Hello:

F6723 is used to make products,the power supply is 0.5F 6V Fala capacitor, which is depressed by LDO to 3.3V for MCU.Now, when I do the EDS test, we find that the product is dead,redondload the program or short connect the reset pin can not return to normal;Another phenomenon is that when using the hand to hold the board, it will also appear.

The capacitance can only be discharged to normal operation.

Why does this happen? Is there anything to do with Fala's capacitive power supply? How to deal with it..Thanks.

Does the board operate properly when connected to a battery or external DC power supply?

Hi Nathan:

My description was a bit wrong yesterday.Now,I describe the phenomenon to you again.

Power supply circuit as shown in the following diagram.

After the ESD test, f6723 had no response,removed the battery, it is powered by the capacitor and still has no reaction.The RST pins are artificially lowered and repositioned high, but still no response.

It takes a long time to store the electricity on the capacitor, that is, when VCC is 0, recharge the battery is normal.Then the ESD test will not appear to be abnormal.

This will happen in the design part of the power supply with 0.5F capacitors.No capacitance will not appear.Is it related to the capacitance?THANKS.

Another quesetion: I want to know the ESD level of F6723, there is no mention in the datasheet.Taanks.

Hi,

Could you please describe what you are doing for the ESD test? The "ESD level" is not specified because it depends on other factors, such as the board layout.
