MSP430FG4616: Non generation of 32KHz frequency

Hi Atul,

can you be a bit more specific about the issue you're seeing? How do perceive, that the Frequency is not generated: Is it higher or lower than expected? Or do you measure no frequency at all?
Also, what are the settings in the MSP430 to set up the clock to use the external oscillator.
Are you connecting the crystal to pin 9 and 10 as stated above? Please have a look as pin 8 and 9 would be input and output pin of the oscillator.
Please also be specific on the "internal rejections". What do you mean with it?

Some more details regarding this issue are given below :-

a) Frequency is NOT generated at all.

b) Setting are as given : SCFI0 = FLLD_2 | FN_8;

       FLL_CTL0 = DCOPLUS | XCAP18PF;

       SCFQCTL = 0xFF;

       SCFI1 = 0x10;

       FLL_CTL1 = 0x14

c)Yes, we are using pin 8 & 9 for oscillator & not pin-9,10.
