CCS/MSP430FR2110: MSP430FR2110 in LPM3 WITHOUT External 32.768kHz

Dear team,

I am using MSP430FR2110 and i want it in LPM3 WITHOUT External 32.768kHz.

I tested it without External 32.768kHz and the current was 17uA ( i want less than 3uA).  It is too high.

How could i do?

    Hello Susan,
    many thanks for contacting us on this.
    In case you need an LPM3 current below 3µA, but do not want to use a 32.768kHz crystal, the only option is using the integrated VLO. Please keep in mind the VLO is not an accurate oscillator, but optimized for ultra low power consumption. Thus only usable in case of relaxed timing accuracy requirements.
    You can fin code examples in the TI Resource Explorer in CCS, which demonstrate how to use the VLO.
