I want to design our board with MSP430F5132 or MSP430G2553 for BLDC sensorless application.

Is there any Instaspin-BLDC library like "C28x_InstaSPIN_BLDC_Lib" which I can use in MSP uC ?

Hello,

While there doesn't seem to be an Instaspin-BLDC library for MSP430 devices, it does look like the Instaspin algorithm has been implemented on MSP430. Check out the software and User's Guide for the Cost-effective 3-phase Brushless DC Drive for Sensor-less Trapezoidal Control Reference Design (TIDA-00274) and also the 24V, 100W/30W Dual Sensorless Brushless DC Motor Drive Reference Design (TIDA-00447). These designs are using MSP430's with some of our DRV devices.

Thank you for your reply.

But I've already checked the designs you mentioned ( TIDA-00274 and TIDA -00447) and just found the attached library which have a header for PWM actions and adc feedbacks.

in comparison The "C28x_InstaSPIN_BLDC_Lib.lib" only contains commutation and integration algorithm and we have freedom to change all other loops like : current loop, speed loop, ramp functions and etc.

Is there any solution like "C28x_InstaSPIN_BLDC_Lib.lib" for MSP too?
