CCS/MSP430G2210: Error Message : Target must be connected before loading program

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Dear All,

When I run the debugging mode with MSP430G2210, the CCS show an error message: "TI MSP430 USB1/MSP430 : Target must be connected before loading program". I am sure that I have connected everything it should be connected. Because if I create a new CCS project with MSP430G2210, everything is running as expected and it doesn't pop any error message. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Thank you.

Hi Xview,

It seem something wrong with you setting.

You can create a new project and copy your source code to it.

I had the same issue when I copied a project. Checking the "Connect to the target on debugger startup" box fixed it for me. For some reason this box got unchecked when I copied the project.
