Is it possible to develop HART communication by using integrated DAC of MSP430F477?

Do you have any customers who was able to develop HART Communication by using integrated DAC of MSP430F4xxx series?

It is possible. software solution on DAC and OA Peripherals is needed on HART modem.

FR2355 with 4 SAC (DAC12 and OA) is more suitable on this solution.

If I develop TIDM-01000 using MSP430F477, Is external opamp IC necessary?

Yes. I think so. There is no PGA/OA in MSP430F477 to convert voltage to current after DAC. I propose you can consider FR2355 as TIDM-01000 adopted

HART Communication succeeded using MSP430F477.

I would like to know about 49.9kΩ resister( R4 ) in TIDA-01504.

I randomly choosed 47kΩ resister in my board and Hart communication happened to succeed.

Could you tell me how to determine proper resister value of R4?
