Hi,
We currently use the MSP430F155 in a project.
We now have more features to implement and we expect to need more flash memory.
That's why we were interested in the MSP430F156.
Now right to my question:
The MSP430F15x family is already relatively "old".

Does it make sense to use the MSP430F156 or are there comparable MSP430, which are newer and possibly cheaper but has similar peripherals as the MSP430F15x ?

    MSP430F156 is stone age device that cost at Mouser 7€ (per 100 devices). For 2€ (per 100 devices) at Mouser you can buy MSP430G2955, most powerful member from F2xx family. Even most powerful F5xx member is under or close to 7€ (per 100 devices).
