A customer wants to know the die size of the MSP430FR5738IYQD. They realize the product is not available as bare die. They are interested in knowing how much smaller the die is than the DSBGA package.

Hi David,

YQD package is 2.271um by 2.07 um

DIE size according our systems is 2.28 um by 2.08 um. Now you might ask why the DIE is larger. This comes from the special sawing process and for the DSBGA.

So for your customer the YQD package is a good fit if they count on size.
