MSP430F6749: EMDC with MSP430F6749?

Part Number: MSP430F6749

Is there anyways to use Energy Measurement Design Center for MSP430 MCUs with MSP430F6749. Since I have found EMDC supports for part numbers as below figure.

    Hi Nattapol,

    In the user's guide, it says support MSP430F67xx family.

    But in the software, there is no F6749 option.

    Let me double check with TI expert and feedback to you soon.

    Hi Nattapol,

    There are too many variants of the F67xx(1)(A) family to add them individually in the EMDC GUI, so we just added the hero devices.

    What you can do is select the F6779 device in the EMDC GUI and configure it and the 4 SD ADCs as you would for the F6749. Then, after you generate the code from EMDC GUI and import the project into CCS, you’ll just need to change the device from F6779 to F6749 in the project settings, save the change and rebuild the project in CCS.

    That should help. If possible, we should have the customer use the A version, MSP430F6749A.
