MSP430F2617: MSP430F2617 Device Erratasheet Rev. Q CPU47 refers to VMAIFG

To Whom It May Concern,

I have been referred here from TI Customer Support (Case CS0102216). My original ticket had the following:

"The MSP430F2617 Device Erratasheet Rev. Q has CPU47, which refers to "Vacant Memory Access Flag (VMAIFG)" I'm unable to find any reference to VMAIFG in the User Guide, or Datasheet, or even my code (including TI libraries). Is this VMAIFG actually included in the MSP430F2617? Does it have another name maybe? I'm also unable to find the word "Vacant" in the user guide... Do you know what register this flag might be in?"

I'm almost certain that CPU47 was added to this errata by mistake. Can anyone confirm?

Hi Sean,

thanks for contacting TI on this ERRATA filed on CPU47. We checked our database have to confirm that CPU47 does not apply to F2619.

The reason is that the vacant memory access reporting feature is only implemented on devices from the F5xx/F6xx and FRxx families. So this was miss from TI to assign F2619 here as well.
