Hi,

We are trying to add debug messages via UART in bootloader of MSP430F5522 but we are unable to succeed. Compilation is done successfully but while flashing,, we didn't get the debug messages in output. So, could you please share functional UART code with debug messages in bootloader.

What's the bootloader do you use? Did you download it here? Or you write it by yourself?

Do you know we have the UART BSL that can download into the USB BSL area? For more detail you can refer to this appnote

But for your case, to add debug message I think you can define a proper data format that can include the debug message.
