MSP430AFE221: Crystal placements

I have two doubts,
1. shall we place load capacitor (bottom layer) opposite to crystal side (Top layer)?,
2. shall we place through hole via on crystal pcb traces?

    please consider consulting the following application report for generic questions on crystal layout and other crystal oscillator operation and HW design related questions.

    If you'd like more detailed and specific answer to your question, I need a more detailed information on this, e.g. a suggested crystal layout section, including the entire area of the crystal, showing all layers, including PCB stackup information, and of course the pin connections to MSP430.
