Part Number: MSP430F6779A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-EM-DESIGN-CENTER

I would like to confirm about Sigma Delta Pin assignment which use with MSP-EM-DESIGN-CENTER. Can I use pin SD3 for Voltage, SD0 for CT sensor and SD1 for R-Shunt sensor with TI lib MSP-EM-DESIGN-CENTER, is it work to assign pin like this, anything I need to consider or not?

  • Hello Siwadon,

sorry for the delay in our response, we will come back to you on this as soon as possible, if not today, then by next Monday. Many thanks for your patience.

    Best regards

  • Hi Siwadon,

You should be able to use this pin assignment provided it matches the hardware connection you have on your board. The pin assignments in the EMDC example projects are made according to the EVM connections. After making these connections, you'll need to go through the other tabs under Library configuration/Phases tab where you'll need to rename the voltage/current pairs before checking for errors and generating the code. You can learn more by referencing this section in the EMDC Technology Guide.

    BR,

    Leo
