MSP430F5310: VIT+ range for 3.3V

Hi,

I have a question about MSP430F5310.

In datasheet of MSP430F5310, VIT+,VIT-, Vhys range
for 1.8V and 3V are specified in page 19 "5.7 Schmitt-Trigger Inputs - GP I/O".

I want to know the VIT+, VIT-, Vhys range for 3.3V.

best regards,
g.f.

  • Hi,

though we understand your desire to get the parameters for your specific operating conditions, TI cannot offer the parameters for all possible operating conditions. What you can do is use the values for the 1.8V and 3V and interpolate as the first approximation.

The second thing you could do, is test some devices on a work bench as follows.

    1. Test the devices in terms of VIT+/VIT- at specified voltages, means 1.8V and 3V.

    2. Compare the results with the specified values in the datasheet. This way you'll obtain the information about the device being above or below typical values, or close to min or max value.

    3. Measure the VIT+/VIT- at 3.3V

In combination with the results from 2. and 3. you can estimate in which range the VIT-/VIT+ will be at 3.3V.

I hope this helps a bit.

    Best regards

    Peter

  • Hi Peter,

Thank you for the relpy and sorry for the delay.
    I understood.

    best regards,
