We are in the initial design stage for developing a voltage and current metering pcb. I came across the MSP430 and saw the evaluation board you made.
We would like to use this chip for 400 V DC applications. I cannot find in the specs if this is possible or is the device specifically made for AC applications?
Furthermore, what is the standard and maximum sampling frequency for this device? In the applic,ation report (SLAA621C), I see that it's set to 4096 samples per second (section 4.1.1) but can this easily be increased? (It's a DC application but we would like to measure voltage dips/swells too).
To program the component, is this using code composer studio and are there examples to start from?
