MSP430FR59471: UART Fault at Low Temperature

Hi Team, we just want to confirm if there are possible occurrences of UART fault during -35 deg C. The customer is testing it on a higher temperature and is not encountering the fault.

Hi Mark,

The errata for the device (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slaz602) does not indicate any issues at -35C. So it depends on the specific fault the UART is encountering at -35C and how the UART is used in the application. There are a few errata relevant to UART (PMM* & USCI*) in that document that they can look and see if it applies to how they are using it.
