MSP430AFE253: Communication between MSP and Nordic

Hello All.
i have designed a single phase energy meter based on the reference designs, i have used Host MCU as Nordic nRF52811 because it is a bluetooth enabled chip, i read through some forums stating that SBW and SWD are not compatible, is it true? if its true is there any other means i can use to communicate between the two? other than the UART pins?, since UART pins will be used for calibration of the MSP. also does the MSP chhip come pre-loaded with firmware?

Correct, SBW and SWD are different interfaces used for programming. For general communication between the two, it looks like the nRF52811 includes UART and SPI. You could use the SPI interface for communication with the MSP430AFE253.

No, the MSP does not come pre loaded with firmware. The user must develop and load the firmware to the IC. The EVM430-AFE253S would come with pre loaded firmware, but it is usually a good idea to flash the EVM board with the latest firmware anyway.
