MSP-EXP432P4111: Is there more information available about the "XDS110 UART transfers corrupted" bug fix in the XDS Emulation Software, release 9.2.0.00002?

Part Number: MSP-EXP432P4111

I am using an MSP-EXP432P4111 evaluation board to receive data via the XDS110 UART connection to my PC. I noticed some strange behaviour in the data received and it appeared corrupted. That is when I discovered the latest release of the XDS Emulation software had a bug fix for the following in the release notes:

  • XDS110: UART transfers corrupted in some versions (DBGTRC-5418)

I'm hoping to get more details about this bug as I was previously using old drivers for testing and if this bug was present in the version used, it may be the case that I redo tests to ensure any failures detected were not as a result of the bug in the XDS driver.

  1. What version of the XDS emulation software / driver was this bug first detected?
  2. Has the bug fix completely solved the problem or have there been any reports of this bug since the latest release?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance ,

Mark
