MSP430F1232: Are they any hardware differences between TSSOP and QFN packaged ICs?

Hello team,

I would like to make sure that there is no hardware difference between MSP430F1232IPW and MSP430F1232IRHB micro-controllers. I have got binary file from third party, which cannot be modified, and need to program MSP430F1232IRHB micro-controller with it. I am able to program MSP430F1232IPW part with this code with no problem. Could you advise if silicon on both parts is identical and I programming with the same binary is possible please?

    Hi Lukasz,

    Yeah, the only different is package(TSSOP and QFN) between MSP430F1232IPW and MSP430F1232IRHB ,there are the same die and pin, thus you can directly use this binary file download to  MSP430F1232IRHB device for use.
