Hi experts,
Is there any way to reprogram MSP430/2 via JTAG through BSL after it is in the field with blown fuse? or do I have to replace a new MSP every time?
Thanks,
Connie

Hi, Connie,
For the MSP430 devices with e-Fuse, it is possible the use BSL to recover the MCU but the firmware in the device will be mass erased.
For the MSP430 with physical JTAG fuse, the device cannot be recovered and new device needs to use for the replacement.
For the MSP432, it is also the e-Fuse. But the mechanism of recover the device is different from MSP430. Please refer to the MSP432 user guide SYSCTL chapter for details.
Thanks,
Lixin
