MSP430F2003: Linearity parameters of Sigma Delta ADC missing

Hello,

In the datasheet the linearity parameters of the 10 bit ADC are mentioned but not of the 16 bit Sigma Delta ADC. Should these be derived from some other parameters mentioned in the datasheet?

Hi Prithvi,

Typically, linearity parameters are not provided in Sigma Delta converters. There is a pretty good explanation below.

Hi Prithvi,

the same ADC (SD16_A) is also in MSP430F(G)47x (see Table 2-1 in www.ti.com/.../slaa957.pdf ), which have INL specified in the datasheet.

Thanks for pointing that out Tomas. I think we probably did not specify this on MSP430F2003 as it is an older device, but the ADC module is the same.
