MSP430F5522: MSP430F5522 regarding ITAR

Part Number: MSP430F5522
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F6459-HIREL

Dear TI Team,

First, I am a big fan of your products and solutions. As a design engineer, I am obliged to follow standards, quality protocols and even regulatory regimes and treaties. In this regard, I would like to ask about the MSP430 MUC series and in particular, MSP430F5522 whether it is considered as an ITAR-protected article and whether it contains ITAR-protected articles, for instance, a processor.

I am working for an industrial business in the UK; it is important for us to work with ITAR-free materials. I am looking forward to hearing from you regarding MSP40F5522 and whether there is a specific criterion I can follow or a quick check I can perform to classify the different items according to its position to the ITAR regulatory regime.

Kind regards,

International Traffic in Arms Regulation
