MSP430FR5962: MSP430FR5962: ADC Characteristics when using the internal voltage reference VREF = 1,2V with also the ADC/REF calibration values are used

Part Number: MSP430FR5962

Dear All,

Is there any detailed ADC information (characteristics) available when using the

  • internal voltage reference VREF = 1,2V
  • where also the conversion result is compensated with the calibration values from the TLV structure.

Of interest are:

  • ADJUSTED Offset error
  • ADJUSTED Gain error
  • Total ADJUSTED error

In other words, which measurement accuracy can be achieved with the help of compensation?

Thanks for your help,

Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

There is no additional characterization information on the error after the TLV based calibration is applied. The datasheet provides the error bounds prior to the calibration and the user's guide only provides the procedure for application the compensation.
