MSP430F1121A: Temperature effects

Part Number: MSP430F1121A
Dear Ti designer or engineer,
Our products needs your help.
When we use the chip msp430-1121a which is developed by your company, we encountered the following problems:
When the ports p2.3 and P2.4 are used as analog comparator to detect a Capacitor, the temperature will greatly affect the counting value,
When the temperature decreases, the count will increase (from 20 to 5 centigrade, increasing about 15%).
Conversely, when the shell of the chip is heated, the count value will decreases.
I hope Ti can help us solve this problem.
  • Hi,

Can you elaborator more about how to detect the capacitor?

We can spilt this issue into two questions. 1. Is the temperature influencing the comparator module? 2. Or the temperature is influencing the capacitor which cause the issue.

    Best regards,

    Cash Hao
