MSP430F6720: how to use window comparator in ADC10 when multiple input channels are selected?

Hi,

In my project, two input channels (A2, A1) are selected. Something needs to be done when readings from A2 is lower or higher than certain threshold values. How do I set this up? This doesn't seem to be covered in MSP430Ware examples.

Hi Zyiyong Li,

Take a look at this example code for the FR6989. Although it is a 12bit ADC the setup and registers are similar.

Hi, Mr. Lehman,

I believe the linked example is about a single channel which is quite straight forward. I did a little more research after posting the question, and believe I will have to just sample both channels and decide what to do in main thread.

Hi ZL,

From your description you indicated you only needed to make decision on one channel, A2, so I assumed you were only going to use that single channel with the window compare mode. Sorry about that. Yes, you are on the right path. You can setup sequential channels and measure both.
