MSP430FR2110: Using pin as a capture input

Hi Team,

Can you please check and advise with following request:

i want to use TB0.1(P2.0) pin as capture input. Also you know there is just one timer B0 in msp430fr2110. But TB0.1 pin is controled by CCI1A and TB1 module. how can i set TB0.1 pin as capture input in MSP430FR2110?

Hi Furkan,

In order to configure P2.0 as TB0.CCI1A, according to Table 6-35 in the data sheet: P2DIR.0 = 0 and P2SEL.0 = 01.

i examined this table. i dont know, how can i exact value to CCIS bit. you know there is one TB0 timer in MSP430FR2110. in user manuel page 411 in table 14-8. TBxCCTLn capture/compare control register. this x value means timer number value. for example, for the TB0CCTL0, x=0, so i can set CCI0A for capture input. if i want to use P2.0(TB0.1) for capture input, i must set TB1CCTL0 register. isn't it? if yes, TB1CCTL0 register is not defined in msp430fr2110. could you please inform me about this subject?

TB0.CCI1A refers to TB0CCTL1, not TB1CCTL0.

[Edit: Don't forget to set SYSCFG3:TBRMP [Ref data sheet (SLASE78C) Table 6-12, Note (1)]
