Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529
Hi guys,
I am really new to MSP430 series MCU and the 5529 Launchpad, now I am building a circuit that uses the MSP430F6659 as the MCU, but however I can't seem to solve the problem of the connection.
I am using the 2 wires SBW connection with SWBTDIO and SWBTCK, after I checked the online posts, I have tried the things like:
- Reinstall the firmware
- Change the RST capacitor between 1nF and 2.2nF
- Disable the driver in device manager and replug the USB
But it doesnt work anyway, I could measure the voltage across the pins and it seems the voltage supply and the pins are connected to the board but the software can't find the device.
And when I disable the drivers in device manager, the MCU becomes extremely hot really fast when I replug the USB
Anyone has any idea about how to fix it?
One thing I couldn't try is connect the DVCC2 to the 3v3 supply, and could this be the reason of failure?
