MSP430FR6047: Sampling Frequency for 1MHz sensor

Hi!

I use 1MHz sensor, so I set sampling frequency 3600kHz.

I just wonder why I should be set 3600kHz, not 4000kHz.

Hi Nakyoung,

If the transducer has 3MHz harmonics, these harmonics can fold back into the 1MHz signal when sampling at 4MSPS. Sampling at 3600kHz would cause these harmonics to fold back at a lower frequency.
