  • Congratulations to the TI'ers, I know you have been working very hard on this for a very long time!  Time to bring on the projects!

  • soo  good

  • I’ve seen the EnergyTrace++ feature in action on 430day (I've been under NDA until it was now announced)
Very impressive, how you can analyse the energy efficiency of your code (and the code flow, on those MSPs supporting it).
The development team can rightfully by proud of this piece of work.

It would be good to see an FRAM-based device that would be pin compatible with the F5529 family. It would be nice to have a very low power device until connected to USB, then higher speed USB connection.

    OCY,

From the MSP430FR6xx family: The MSP430FR6989 is already sampling at www.ti.com/product/msp430fr6989

All the other part numbers you've listed that begin with FR6x and FR5x will be released to production in Sept, 2014.

The MSP430FR41xx family is expected later this year.

    So they are almost here!

    The MSP430FR6989 is already sampling

And by magic, the "MSP430FR6989" entry got a link to its product page in OCY’s list of possibly upcoming devices. :)

I wonder what fundamental differences the FR4x devices will bring.
