Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I am using MSP432P4111 launchpad. I want to do some DSP operation. I was wondering if i have to turn on FPU support, somewhere in Compiler options or in commands for TI-RTOS.

Is it already on?

How i can make sure, I am using FPU support in my calculations?

Regards

  • Dear Sir/Ma'am,

    Update:
    In compiler options, I have selected --float support -> FPv4SPD16. So it will add FPU support code it self before main is called.
    Am i right about this?

    Regards

    Anurag,
    Yes, you have the correct option path for controlling FPU support. For documentation here, the full path is:

    (Rt-click on project)->Properties->Build->MSP432 Compiler->Processor Options->Specify Floating Point Support
    FPv4SPD16 is the correct option for enabling FPU support.
