RTOS/TI-RTOS-MCU: Support Module for TI-RTOS for MSP430 - v Missing in Resource Explorer

Part Number: TI-RTOS-MCU

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

I'm using the MSP432P401R for a class in real-time embedded systems. I know the module exists as I imported the empty example as a basis to start working on a homework assignment, but the next day when I went to reference the API documentation the entire module was gone from Resource Explorer. This is the case inside CCS, on a web browser, for other classmates, and even the professor. It likely went down as part of a web update, and should exist under 'Resource Explorer' -> 'Software' -> 'TI-RTOS for MSP430 - v'. Please restore this module so that I can do my homework.

  • Hello Jacob,

Are you using MSP432P401R with TI-ROTS for MSP430? If so that is not a valid SDK for the MSP432P4 family. You should be using SimpleLink MSP432P4 SDK which is available on Resource explorer.

    Thanks,
    Sai

I mis-typed. The module was TI-RTOS for msp43x. I've looked under SimpleLink for MSP432P4 and it's a different library. The empty example I referred to was different in structure to the one posted under SimpleLink.

    Hello Jacob,

As mentioned earlier, the SDK that is supported for MSP432P4 MCU family is SimpleLink MSP432P4 SDK. No other SDK is supported.

    Thanks,
    Sai
