I need some help to kick start my USB development using the MSP430F5504. Reading the USB2.0 protocol is taking too much of my time to come out with something.
Currently, I have purchased the MSP-TS430RGC64USB module , using together with a MSP-FET430UIF debugger. All is well, the MCU module is able to perform all the required task at the I/O. I need also to use the the MSP-TS430RGC64USB module and link up to a computer ( destop or laptop ), so that the computer recognize the device as a HID. I need to talk to the O/S , so that I can tap some high current from the USB port 5V to charge a backup battery on my module. Current to be as high as possible.
Is there some reference program ( written in C ), that I can plug and use... so that I can start talking to the OS via my USB port.
thanks
Billy
