MSP430F5637 USB Module Coding and Power

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5637

I am working on a design to use the MSP430F5637 and would like to use the USB module on the chip. I have read over the Data Sheet and the Family User's Guide, but I am still a bit confused as to some of the implementation. The current design draws power from a USB port, but does not use the data pins. Also, have not provided power to the VBUS or any of the other pins in the USB module.

In the next revision of the design, we would like to bring over the Data pins and the power pins to the USB module. However, we have already powered the chip through other AVCC and DVCC pins. What will happen when the chip has two power source, the internal LDO and the AVCC and DVCC sources.

Also, I have not been able to find any example code on how to use this module. If anyone has some examples on how to setup the LDO power and then code for the USB module, they would be much appreciate.

Thanks very much.
