Hi!

I have a few RF modules using the CC1120 transceiver and the MSP430f5506 MCU and I want my RF transceivers to have a standard settings value that it can contain between power cycles. I know that it is possible to emulate EEPROM on MSP430 and I just wanna know if this is the only way to store data in MSP430 that must be contained between power cycles

well basically, the MSP430F5xx has only Flash memory which is non-volatile. You can use the INFO memory fort his purpose, i think it is basically designed for such purpose. Just look into the example codes and search this forum. I believe you can find a lot of useful information.

You can even use any segment of the flash memory for configuration storage. Anyway the segment around 0xffxx should be avoided for such tasks for obvious reasons...
