MSP430FR6927 ULP PROBLEM

I've used Msp430fr6927 in a ulp application. TI specifies 100uA at 1 MHZ in active mode, but it consumes 400uA. I got 230 uA at 64 KHZ. TI gives wrong specifications. I need a solution.

Hello Manisha,

100 uA/MHz is a best case scenario given that you have properly initialized the device for the lowest power setting possible, including:

1) All execution is from RAM and FRAM is off.
2) Use the VLO instead of a crystal oscillator.
3) Disable the SVS.
4) Configure all I/Os for output mode and drive low.
5) Do not use any modules/peripherals/JTAG.

You can also check CCS's ULP advisor for further recommendations.
