I have a C program for IR communication using MSP430G2252, but I am using G2553 in my project. Then what are the differences in need to do in prgramming? What are the basic differences between these two ICs i.e., MSP430G2252 and G2553?

    G2553 does not have Universal Serial Interface (USI) as in G2252. But it has Universal Serial Communication Interface (USCI) instead. Other than that, G2553 has everything that G2552 has (plus more). For details, see the respective data-sheet.
