MSP430FR5989 / MSP430FR5986. Recording Problems

We are in a new project where we have incorporated the micro MSP430FR5989.

For recording and debugging the environment has been used
Code Composer Version: 6.2.0.00050

And as recorder via JTAG the device:
MSP-FET430UIF

After several correct recordings, it happens that when trying to record (in all the circuits) the message appears:

TIMSP430USB1 / MSP430
MSP430: Error connecting to the target: Unknown device

We would like to know how to solve this, if possible from CCS and MSP-FET430UIF.

Hi Jose,
By "recording" do you mean programming?

Unknown device is usually a JTAG communication issue. This is most often resolved to an issue with the power supply or JTAG lines.

Is this on LaunchPad/Target Board or a custom PCB?
Does it do this across multiple boards?

I actually meant programming.
The modules are custom PCB.

It seems that the problem was in the MSP-FET430UIF and the JTAG lines.

Now most custom PCBs can be programmed.

Hy Cameron,

The problem was a faulty connection between MSP-FET430UIF and the adapter to JTAG pins on the PCB.
