MSP430F6765A: PIN.h, PIN_HYSTERESIS, and the buffer

Where is the documentation that explains what pin hysteresis is? I'm looking at /Applications/ti/tirtos_msp43x_2_20_00_06/products/tidrivers_msp43x_2_20_00_08/packages/ti/drivers/PIN.h

This is all I can find:

 *  - I/O buffer/driver control
 *    - Input mode (detached, hysteresis, pull-up, pull-down)
 *    - Output mode (tristated, push-pull, open drain, open source)
 *    - Output driver strength control
 *    - Output driver slew rate control

Hi Crizzle,

If you are looking for PIN voltage hysteresis, you can find it in MS430F6765A datasheet - 5.8.1 Digital I/Os.

Is that the only kind of hysteresis, or is there another mode on the "input buffer" that shares the same name?
